SeeWhy Learning is a Canadian exam-prep leader that has helped more than 150,000 students get licensed and stay licensed across the financial services industry since 2008. With 32 supported courses, a 97.7% success rate, and a roster of corporate partners that includes RBC, CIBC, Canada Life, and Edward Jones, SeeWhy needed a robust, bilingual e-commerce platform capable of selling a large, complex catalogue of courses — and provisioning student access automatically. We delivered a custom WordPress and WooCommerce build with a core integration to the SmarterU LMS.

Key Features Implemented:

  • WooCommerce + SmarterU LMS Integration: The centerpiece of the project — a custom integration that connects WooCommerce checkout directly to the SmarterU learning management system, automatically provisioning student access (typically within 30 minutes of purchase) and eliminating manual enrolment. This is the engine that lets SeeWhy scale to tens of thousands of registrations.
  • Large-Scale, Segmented Course Catalogue: We built a WooCommerce store capable of organizing dozens of products across CSC, LLQP, WME, CPH, CIRO proficiency courses, continuing education, and more — including province-specific, partner-specific (TD, ATB, WFG, Greatway), and bundled variants — within an intuitive, filterable shopping experience.
  • Subscription & Access Management: Time-based access rules (180-day standard, 12-month LLQP, plus paid extensions) are handled cleanly through the commerce and LMS layers, so students always know their entitlement.
  • Bilingual (EN/FR) Experience: Full English and French support serves SeeWhy’s national student base and Quebec-specific (PQAP, Civil Code) offerings.
  • Corporate & Academic Pricing Paths: Dedicated corporate pricing, eligibility, and training-solution flows support SeeWhy’s institutional partners and volume customers.
  • Conversion-Focused, Trust-Building Design: Performance metrics, partner logos, the “Don’t Pass, Don’t Pay” guarantee, testimonials, and a deep FAQ library work together to build credibility and drive enrolments.
